We took approximately 200 pictures at Annie's 2 birthday parties (one just for parents/grandparents and one for friends at the park), but I thought I would only subject you to a few. Because I seem to have no time to do anything lately, I can't seem to go through the 200 to find the best shots, so I decide on a few cake photos. Here we are patiently waiting for birthday cake...or maybe starting to whimper - hard to say.
Annie requested chocolate, and I love chocolate, so it was a win-win! I made cupcakes for her actual-day-of-at-home birthday party. They were yummy!
Oops - this one is not cake-related. But it does show that I dressed her in a super-cute hippy-chick outfit for the park party. Not long after this picture it got to be 80 degrees, so off came the long sleeve top, the skirt got rolled up and the child became a sticky sweaty mess. But at least I have this one photo of the cuteness.
And here we are blowing out the candle that the wind had already blown out. Annie didn't seem to care at all. Yes, I decorated the cake with M&Ms - her favorite food in the whole world. Now when I tell her about other kids' birthday parties, she always asks if there will be M&Ms. :)

I love the M&M decoration, I'm totally stealing that idea. Looks like much fun was had by all!
