7 months!

Annie turned 7 months on Saturday, and it is utterly amazing how fast time flies.  She has come down with yet another cold (thank you, daycare friends) but we forged ahead with our weekend plans.  We spent some time at Gentry's Farm in Franklin on Saturday morning, which has a pumpkin patch, corn mazes, animals to watch and several hands-on activities for kiddos.  Annie enjoyed watching all the big kids run around.

We took lots of photos, but sweet Annie was not a smiley subject.  She definitely wasn't feeling great.

It probably didn't help that we stuck her right in the blazing sun...

Here she is after her first change of outfit...I really wanted to get a cute photo of her in her "peek-a-BOO" Halloween shirt.  As you can see, she wasn't all that excited about smiling for the camera.

Then I couldn't help but put her in her Halloween costume - she's a baby lion!  She was not interested.

In fact, I'm pretty sure she's begging for mercy in this photo...

Annie was a real trooper, despite the copious amount of snot streaming down her face. :)   Later that day we left her with a non-family baby sitter for the first time so that Toby and I could join my parents at a wine tasting that was going on in their neighborhood.  We had a great time, and didn't even call to check in on the baby once.  (I wanted to, just a little bit...)

Toby and I feel like we need a weekend to recover from our weekend.  Alas, it looks to be another very busy week at work.   Hopefully we'll have a happy and relatively snot-free baby by Friday.

What a fun weekend! And what an adorable little lion you have. Glad you and Toby are getting out some by yourselves :)
