Toby and I are reveling in our first Christmas as a married couple. Cuteness runeth over in the Cooper living room, with matching embroidered stockings and a tree skirt that says "The Coopers." I've never, as an adult, had a Christmas tree, and I've never ever had a fresh tree, so we had a great time picking one out over the weekend and decorating it. Here are some pictures of the process...I'm going to save the pictures of the decorated tree for another post.
Toby did an excellent job of keeping the tree attached to the car on the way home. I would have added about 10 more strands of rope, but Toby is obviously the family expert when it comes to knots and physics.
This is when I learned that one shouldn't even offer to help a man carry a reasonably-sized Christmas tree.

Doesn't a real tree smell sooo good? Enjoy your 1st Christmas!!! Beautiful shot of you and Toby on your Christmas card. that one went on the fridge (where items can stay much longer than Christmas)
